Gulf Region (HRNW)– The Indian propaganda film “Dhurandhar” has been banned in several Gulf countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Authorities in these countries refused to release the film, citing concerns that it contains anti-Pakistan content.
The production team of “Dhurandhar” attempted to secure permission for screenings in these nations, but their efforts were unsuccessful. Gulf governments have historically been cautious about approving content perceived as offensive toward Pakistan, with similar restrictions previously applied to films like John Abraham’s “Diplomat”.
