Karachi (HRNW)- President of Gul Plaza Traders Association Tanveer Qasim was overcome with emotion while talking to Dunya News due to the terrible fire that broke out in Gul Plaza on MA Jinnah Road. He said that there is a possibility that many people are still trapped inside the building as a result of the fire, while at least 12 members of the business community have not been contacted yet.
Talking to Dunya News, Tanveer Qasim said that the fire has caused financial losses of billions of rupees, but we do not care about wealth and property, the real shock is the loss of precious human lives. He asked in a sad tone that who will compensate for the loss of lives? Saying this, he could not control his emotions and became overcome with emotion.
It should be noted that the fire that broke out in Gul Plaza on MA Jinnah Road in Karachi has not been completely controlled yet. So far, 5 people have been confirmed dead, while more than 20 people are injured and many are feared trapped inside the building. Rescue agencies are busy with relief operations.
