Karachi (HRNW)- Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori has said that Karachi is the economic artery of Pakistan and maintaining law and order in the city is the top priority of the government. He said that the installation of modern surveillance cameras is indispensable to ensure the safety of citizens.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan at the Governor House. In the meeting, the overall law and order situation in Karachi, Safe City project, installation of surveillance cameras, measures against smuggling and other important security issues were discussed in detail.
The Sindh Governor congratulated Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan on assuming new responsibilities and expressed his best wishes for him. On this occasion, he said that law enforcement agencies are playing a key role in protecting the lives and property of citizens.
Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan said on this occasion that vigorous steps are being taken to increase the capacity of the police and effective policing so that law and order can be further improved in the city.
