Islamabad (HRNW)- The government calendar for the budget for the next fiscal year has been released, according to which the budget is likely to be presented in the first week of June.
Ministries have been directed to complete their economic performance review by February 20 and the relevant departments should provide their development expenditure and preliminary estimates by the same date.
Government officials say that timely reports and data from all departments will be included in the preparation of the budget so that planning for the fiscal year is effective and transparent.
