Gold Prices Plunge Sharply, Per Tola Rate Drops by Rs 25,500

Karachi (HRNW)- The price of gold in the country continues to decline, as a result of which gold has become significantly cheaper at the global and local levels.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola has decreased by another Rs 25,500 today and has reached Rs 511,862. The price of 10 grams of gold has decreased by Rs 21,862 to Rs 438,839.

The price of gold has also decreased in the global market and the price of gold per ounce has decreased by $ 255 to $ 4,895. Yesterday, gold per tola had become cheaper by Rs 35,500, after which the total decrease in two days has reached Rs 61,000.

The price of silver also declined locally, with the price of silver per tola falling by Rs 2,063 to Rs 9,006 and the price of 10 grams of silver falling by Rs 1,768 to Rs 7,721.
