Gold Prices in Pakistan Hit Record High, Nearing Rs. 500,000 per Tola

Lahore (HRNW) — Precious metal prices in Pakistan have reached a historic high. The price of gold per tola has surged by Rs. 4,300, reaching an all-time record of Rs. 493,662, bringing it close to the Rs. 500,000 mark.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs. 3,686, now standing at Rs. 423,235.

It is worth noting that on Monday, gold prices also witnessed a sharp rise when the per tola rate jumped by Rs. 7,500 to reach Rs. 489,362.

Meanwhile, silver prices have also seen an increase. The price of silver per tola rose by Rs. 87, reaching a record level of Rs. 9,869.

According to experts, the surge in global gold prices, the depreciation of the Pakistani rupee, and investors’ preference for safe-haven assets are the key factors behind this increase in the value of precious metals.
