Karachi (HRNW)- The price of gold and silver continues to rise in global and local gold markets, where the price of gold per ounce in the international gold market has reached close to $5,000 for the first time in history.
According to experts, gold and silver are continuously becoming more expensive due to large-scale purchases by central banks of different countries and the geopolitical situation.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, 24-carat gold per tola in the country has increased by Rs6,500 to a record level of Rs521,162, while the price of ten grams of gold has increased by Rs5,583 to a record level of Rs446,812.
Similarly, the price of silver per tola has increased by Rs526 to a record level of Rs10,801.
The price of gold also recorded a significant increase in the global market, where gold rose by $65 per ounce to trade at a historic level of $4,988.
