Paris (HRNW)– International press freedom organizations have renewed calls for stronger protection of journalists, citing rising attacks, detentions, and killings. NGOs warned that impunity for crimes against journalists continues to erode freedom of expression and democratic accountability. Governments were urged to adopt legal safeguards and prosecute perpetrators.
