Fierce Clashes Escalate in Yemen’s Border Areas, Civilians Forced to Flee

Yemen (HRNW)- Fighting has intensified in Yemeni areas bordering Saudi Arabia, where fierce clashes are ongoing in various areas between the Saudi-backed governorate and separatist elements of the Southern Transitional Council.

According to sources, the initial attacks targeted the Al-Khasa camp located in the Hadramawt Valley and Hadramawt desert region, resulting in severe destruction and reports of casualties.

Local residents said that civilians are extremely afraid due to the intensity of the clashes and many people are migrating from the area in search of safe places.

International organizations are expressing concern over the Yemeni crisis and have called on the parties to an immediate ceasefire to maintain peace.
