Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW)– The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) held its 6th Convocation today, marking a significant academic milestone for 255 graduates. The ceremony saw the distribution of 47 Gold Medals, 24 Silver Medals, and 16 Bronze Medals to high-achieving students. Additionally, two students received special recognition for their outstanding performance in co-curricular activities.
Addressing the graduates as the Chief Guest, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori emphasized that parents are the true guests of honor, while teachers deserve immense credit for “shaping students like diamonds.” He advised the youth that choosing the right direction in life is paramount, as a single wrong decision can alter one’s entire life path.
The Governor also touched upon socio-political issues, stating that ignorance breeds terrorism, citing the current situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a consequence of educational neglect. He urged students to maintain a positive mindset, avoid jealousy, and rely on intelligence and hard work to progress. Professor Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari also spoke at the event, lauding the faculty’s dedication to student success.
