Federal Health Ministry Briefs Senate Committee on Medical Reforms Hospital Conditions

Islamabad (HRNW)- Senior officials of the Federal Ministry of Health gave an important briefing in the meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on National Health. The meeting was also attended by Secretary, Special Secretary, President and Registrar PMDC, CEO DRAP, Director General Health and Executive Director PIMS.

During the briefing, the Ministry of Health briefed the committee in detail on ongoing projects, regulatory affairs of medicines, quality of medical education, condition of hospitals and issues related to public health. The questions of the senators were answered and various reforms that the ministry is implementing were also informed.

As per the directions of the Federal Minister of Health, the meeting emphasized on transparency, accountability and measures to improve the system so that the public health system can be made strong and people-friendly.
