Karachi (HRNW)- The federal government has approved Rs. 190 million for the construction of School Education Department field offices in three districts of Karachi.
The field offices will be established in District Central, Korangi, and Malir to strengthen administrative oversight and improve educational services.
The Planning Commission of Pakistan has prepared separate PC-I documents for all three districts and forwarded them to the Sindh School Education Department. Following approval by the Sindh Planning Department, the Federal Ministry of Finance will release the allocated funds.
According to officials, the approval was granted after repeated complaints regarding the absence of field offices in these districts. The initiative aims to enhance coordination, monitoring, and service delivery within Karachi’s education sector.
