Federal and Sindh Health Ministers Meet to Resolve Jinnah Hospital Issues

Karachi (HRNW) Federal Health Minister and senior MQM Pakistan leader Mustafa Kamal on Thursday held an important meeting with Sindh Provincial Health Minister Azra Pechuho, in which detailed discussions were held on matters related to Jinnah Hospital, staff issues and long-standing administrative issues between the federal and provincial health ministries.

Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal was accompanied by his team in the meeting. Both the ministers agreed that the administrative and employee issues of Jinnah Hospital would be resolved with mutual cooperation, understanding and constructive attitude.

Mustafa Kamal said on the occasion that the federal government will utilize all available resources, capabilities and roles for the improvement of the health sector and will continue to cooperate fully with the provincial government, so that quality medical facilities can be provided to the people.

The ministers also agreed to address the issues of hospital staff on a priority basis, and to formulate a joint strategy to improve health management at the federal and provincial levels.

The two leaders expressed hope that through close coordination and joint efforts, the health sector in Sindh, including Jinnah Hospital, would be strengthened.
