Islamabad (HRNW)- The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed customs officers and officials not to use any social media platform without prior permission from the authority, otherwise they will face strict legal action.
According to an official notification, the FBR field formations observed that several officers were active on social media without permission, which violated government rules and regulations.
Terming this behavior as unethical behavior, the board said that it falls under the category of violation of the Government Servants (Conduct) Rules, 1964 and strict action will be taken against the responsible officers.
