Brussels (HRNW) – A coalition of European human rights organizations has raised concerns over continued pushbacks of migrants and asylum seekers at external EU borders.
NGOs allege that individuals are being denied access to asylum procedures and subjected to abuse. Rights advocates are urging the European Union to ensure compliance with international refugee and human rights law.
