The plan is to turn Dubai’s Gold District into a new tourist destination, where a modern commercial center with more than a thousand gold retailers will be built. The plans and designs will be unveiled in phases.
According to the Dubai government, this modern center will bring together all aspects of retail, wholesale and investment in one place, while the entire gold and jewelry value chain will also be located in one place.
Emirati officials say that the project will symbolize Dubai’s glory and commercial heritage and will be a major attraction for tourists and businessmen from around the world.
