Karachi (HRNW) The Central President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) and the Milli Yakjehti Council, Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, paid an important visit to Karachi in view of the prevailing political situation in the country. During the visit, he held detailed meetings with religious and political leaders to discuss the overall national scenario, unity among Ahl-e-Sunnat, and the basic issues faced by the people of Karachi.
A delegation led by Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair met the Grand Mufti of Pakistan, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman. The delegation included Sahibzada Dr. Uzair Mahmood Al-Azhari, Allama Aqeel Anjum Qadri and Qazi Ahmed Noorani. The meeting featured an in-depth exchange of views on the country’s conditions, the role of religious institutions and the challenges confronting the Muslim Ummah.
Later, the heads of JUP and the Milli Yakjehti Council met the Central Chairman of the Sunni Tehreek, Sarwat Ijaz Qadri, at Markaz-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, where serious concern was expressed over the alleged violation of the sanctity of chadar and chardiwari during a police operation. Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair strongly condemned the incident and assured full moral and organizational support from Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan.
Those present at the meeting included JUP Central Vice President Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, JUP Sindh President Allama Aqeel Anjum Qadri, JUP Karachi Youth Wing President Rao Abdul Rehman, Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Central President Sahibzada Allama Bilal Abbas Qadri, Central Coordinator Muhammad Tayyab Hussain Qadri, Karachi Division Information Secretary Imran Qadri, along with other leaders.
At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, Qazi Ahmed Noorani and Dr. Uzair Mahmood Al-Azhari visited Tiba Hospital Karachi to inquire after Mr. Abdul Rehman Rajput, a member of the JUP Sindh Executive Committee and former MPA, and offered prayers for his speedy recovery.
