Karachi (HRNW): DIG West Zone, Irfan Baloch, accompanied by SSP West, Tariq Ullah Mastooi, visited the annual Tablighi Ijtema held in Orangi Town, Karachi to review security arrangements.
During the visit, the DIG West conducted a detailed assessment of security measures, personnel deployment, and overall law and order at the event venue.
SSP West Tariq Ullah Mastooi briefed the DIG on the security plan, entry and exit routes, control room operations, and traffic management arrangements.
The DIG also met with Maulana Abdul Wahab, the chief of the congregation, and discussed the security arrangements implemented during the event.
Addressing police officers and personnel, the DIG emphasized the importance of foolproof security, ensuring the safety of participants and their property, and maintaining smooth traffic flow at all costs.
For the annual Tablighi Ijtema, approximately 2,300 police officers and staff from Karachi Police are deployed in different shifts to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
