COAS Munir hosts Bahrain Saudi commanders for renewed defence cooperation talks

Rawalpindi (HRNW) Top military commanders from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia met Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir at General Headquarter on Wednesday to discuss regional security and reinforce commitments to deeper defence collaboration.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Bahrain Commander General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa discussed matters of mutual interest and bilateral defence collaboration. He appreciated the professionalism of the Pakistan Army and its contribution to regional peace.

In a separate meeting, Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Saud Al-Johani, Commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces, called on the COAS at GHQ Rawalpindi and was presented with a Guard of Honour on arrival. Discussions covered avenues for enhanced defence cooperation, training, capacity building and intelligence sharing.
