Rawalpindi (HRNW)— Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Mr. Ali Ardeshir Larijani, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), at the General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, both dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest, bilateral cooperation, regional security, and the importance of strengthening relations between Pakistan and Iran.

The two sides also exchanged views on the prevailing security dynamics in the region. The COAS reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to regional peace and stability, emphasizing the need for close cooperation with Iran in countering terrorism. He also highlighted the growing importance of strategic collaboration between the two neighboring countries in light of emerging geopolitical developments.
Mr. Larijani acknowledged Pakistan’s pivotal role in promoting peace and security in the region and reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral relations. He underscored the significance of continued dialogue and partnership between Pakistan and Iran to address regional challenges and ensure long-term stability.
