Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW) — In a serious criminal case registered at the Korangi Industrial Area Police Station, the child victim has recorded their statement in court, shedding light on the harrowing incident.
According to the victim, on 20 December 2025, they were standing at a bus stop, waiting to go to work, when the accused, Imran, arrived on a motorcycle and offered them a lift. The child stated that the accused then took them via the Warehouse Chorangi route to an area near the Malir River and subjected them to sexual assault.
The statement further revealed that after the assault, the accused abandoned the child near the Korangi Driving License Branch and fled the scene.
Authorities have confirmed that the case is under active investigation, and the court proceedings are ongoing. The case highlights serious concerns regarding child safety and the need for stringent law enforcement measures in Karachi.
