Cement Prices Rise Again in Northern Cities, Adding Pressure on Builders and Public

Islamabad (HRNW)- The retail price of cement has once again seen an increase. According to the weekly report of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the average price of cement per sack in the northern cities of the country was recorded at Rs 1402 in the week ending December 18, 2025, which is 0.9 percent more than the previous week.

According to the data, the average retail price of cement per sack in the northern cities of the country was Rs 1389 in the previous week, which has increased significantly this week.

Experts say that the continuous increase in construction costs is increasing the difficulties for both the public and builders, while effective measures are needed to stabilize prices in the market.
