Washington (HRNW)- Former US President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have agreed to testify in the US House of Representatives investigation into the Jeffrey Epstein case.
According to media reports, the decision comes as the House is set to vote on contempt of Congress charges against the pair in a few days. If the vote passes, the Clintons could face fines or even prison.
The development occurs amid ongoing tensions between the Clintons and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, a Republican, who has insisted that both must appear before the committee under oath to comply with subpoenas.
