Balochistan CM Provides Financial Support to Rickshaw Driver After Police Harassment Incident

Quetta, Pakistan (HRNW)- The Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfraz Bugti, has decided to provide financial assistance to a rickshaw driver in Quetta to help him purchase a new vehicle after he set his rickshaw on fire in protest against alleged harassment by a police officer.

During a meeting with the driver, the Chief Minister assured him that all possible support would be provided. Authorities confirmed that the police officer involved in the incident has been suspended for misconduct.

The rickshaw driver explained that he is raising a disabled child and works hard to meet household expenses. Expressing gratitude for the Chief Minister’s support, he reportedly kissed his hands in thanks.

The initiative has been welcomed by the public as a positive example of governmental support and public service, highlighting responsiveness to citizens’ grievances.
