Tehran (HRNW)- Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has issued a stern warning to the United States, stating that any attack on Iran would escalate into a regional war. Speaking at a public gathering in Tehran, Khamenei said that US provocations regarding military installations and threats are nothing new, and the Iranian nation will not be intimidated.
He emphasized that while Iran does not seek war, any aggression will be met with full force. Referring to US President Donald Trump’s threats, he said the people of Iran will not fear such demonstrations of military power. Khamenei also addressed recent protests in Iran, calling them attempts to undermine key government institutions, burn police stations, banks, mosques, and even the Holy Quran, which he claimed were ultimately thwarted.
Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted that Iran has successfully defeated previous conspiracies and will continue to confront any external attempts to destabilize the country.
