Afghan Scholars and Religious Leaders Issue Joint Declaration Foreign Military Activities Prohibited

Kabul (HNRW) — A major gathering of scholars, religious leaders, and political figures took place at Kabul University, with over 1,000 participants, to address the issue of military activities originating from Afghanistan.

During the meeting, the attendees released a joint declaration stating that engaging in military operations abroad is strictly prohibited. The scholars emphasized that no individual will be allowed to conduct armed activities outside Afghanistan, and anyone violating this directive will be considered a rebel.

The declaration sent a clear message to the Afghan government: the country’s territory must not be used against any other nation.

Afghan scholars also called on the government to protect Afghanistan’s sovereignty and take strict measures to prevent any external military activities.
