Abu Dhabi (HRNW)- Two-day peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, brokered by the United States in Abu Dhabi, concluded without any major breakthroughs. The discussions included direct contact between Russian and Ukrainian officials, but no final agreement was reached.
According to a spokesman for the Emirati government, the talks were held in a positive and constructive atmosphere, with both sides seriously presenting their positions on various points of the US-proposed peace framework.
Both the Russian Foreign Ministry and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have agreed to participate in the next round of negotiations. President Zelensky stated that constructive talks were held to work toward ending the war in Ukraine and indicated that further discussions are expected within a week if progress continues.
