KASUR (HRNW) – In a chilling incident that has sent shockwaves through the region, a four-year-old girl was found severely tortured and in a semi-conscious state near the Rohi Nullah in the Mustafa Abad area of Kasur.
According to police reports, the child was discovered by locals who immediately alerted the authorities. She was rushed to the Lahore General Hospital in critical condition. Hospital sources confirmed that while her condition was initially life-threatening, she is now out of danger following an emergency surgical procedure.
Investigation Underway
The local police have registered a case against unidentified suspects. At present, the identity of the child’s family remains unknown, and efforts are underway to locate her legal guardians.
District authorities have taken strict notice of the brutality. A high-level special team, led by the SP Investigation, has been formed to track down and apprehend the perpetrators.
“We are utilizing all available resources to identify the culprits behind this heinous act,” a police spokesperson stated. “A thorough investigation is ongoing, and justice will be served in accordance with the law.”
The incident has once again raised concerns regarding the safety of minors in the region, with civil society calling for swift action and exemplary punishment for those involved.
