Karachi (HRNW) — Police Surgeon Karachi Dr. Samia has confirmed that 20 bodies burned in the Gul Plaza fire remain unidentified.
Dr. Samia provided details regarding the victims recovered from Gul Plaza, stating that the death toll has now risen to 28. Of the charred bodies, 8 individuals have been identified, including Kashif, Amir, Faraz, Farooq, Firhan, Muhammad Ali, and Tanveer.
She added that the family of the eighth victim identified the body with the help of a locket found among the remains.
Dr. Samia further confirmed that samples have been collected from the 20 unidentified bodies to assist with identification through forensic testing.
