Quetta (HRNW)- Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has said that 17 security personnel were martyred during an encounter with terrorists, while the bodies of 145 terrorists have been recovered.
Addressing a press conference in Quetta, the Chief Minister stated that terrorists also martyred 31 innocent civilians. He revealed that in Gwadar, five women and three children were brutally killed, and the affected family belonged to Khuzdar and was Baloch. He said that although the attackers claim to be Baloch, in reality they are terrorists who are working against the interests of the people of Balochistan.
CM Bugti further said that Afghan soil is also being used against Pakistan and there are credible reports of Afghan involvement in these terrorist activities. He added that individuals such as Bashir Zeb, Rehman Gul and Allah Nazar are currently present in Afghanistan.
He said that security agencies had prior intelligence about the planned terrorist attack and the operation was launched a day earlier. According to him, such incidents are carried out at the behest of India whenever Pakistan moves towards stability and development.
The Chief Minister made it clear that the government and security forces will not surrender even for a second and will continue to fight terrorism with full force. He said, “Our blood is not cheap. We will not let terrorists escape and we will make Balochistan a hell for them.”
