12-year-old injured in PK-8303 crash passes away in Karachi

Karachi (HRNW) A 12-year-old girl injured in the PK-8303 plane crash passed away on Monday.

Maida was a resident of Malir’s Jam Kunda Goth and worked at a house in Model Colony. She was injured on May 22 when the ill-fated PIA plane crashed in the neighborhood.

A fire broke out after the plane crash and several bystanders were injured in it. Maida was burnt on 60% of her body.

The plane was carrying 99 people, including the pilot and crew, and only two survived.
