Islamabad men arrested for impersonating police officers, looting residents

Islamabad (HRNW) Two men were arrested for pretending to be police officers and looting residents in Islamabad’s Tarnol on Tuesday.

The police have confiscated handcuffs, fake police uniforms and fake identity cards from them. The suspect have been identified as Ateequr Rehman and Ameer Muhammad Khan.

“They used to call themselves officers of the Islamabad police and then robbed money and other valuables from people,” a police officer said.  An FIR has been registered and the police are interrogating the suspects.
