Stuttgart (dpa) – The death of an 80-year-old man in the south-western state of Baden-Wuerttemberg as a result of the novel coronavirus has brought the death toll in Germany to seven.
Thus far two men have died in the state. Four people have died in North Rhine Westphalia, which has the largest number of cases. And one has died in Bavaria.
All the deceased were aged between 67 and 89.
In addition, a German man, aged 60, has died while travelling in Egypt.
