Islamabad (HRNW)- Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists has condemned Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan’s rude behaviour with senior journalist C.R Shamsi during a talk.
In a joint statement, PFUJ President Shahzada Zulfiqar and Secretary General Nasir Zaidi said cabinet members are supposed to respond to questions asked by press but instead of responding to questions they have routinely started to misbehave with journalists.
PFUJ strongly urges government functionaries to respect the journalist community instead of dealing with them roughly.
