ISLAMABAD: (HRNW) Federal Government has linked change of Inspector General (IG) to approval of federal cabinet while this decision has been informed to Sindh government.
Sources said that the establishment division has sent summary of five proposed names for the IG submitted by Sindh government to Prime Minister Imran Khan.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sindh government has proposed names of Inam Ghani, Sana Ullah Abbassi, Ghulam Qadir Thebo, Kamran Fazal and Mushtaq Mehar.
It is said that the federal government is serious in appointment of Inam Ghani and Mushtaq Mehar for the post of the IG.
